THE POSITIVE SERIES OF VENTURA

If you look at the faithful numbers, which are more worth than too much chatting, youa^ll discover there is a coach with an extraordinary positive series. His namea^s Giampiero Ventura, nowadays working in Genoa with Sampdoria. The numbers are phenomenal: Ventura ahas been winninga?N for 4 seasons and he seems to point the 5th victory (since he believes in spell, leta^s wonder his conjurations). The inverted commas with the verb ahas been winninga?N is not a misprint and we are going to explain why. Winning for a coach doesna^t consist exclusively in leading the available team from one category to another. Winning consists also in hardly conquering the salvation in A championship: mainly if you work in Cagliari and you are surely not asked to fight for the shield. The numbers of Ventura, a delight. In the summer of 1995 he accepted the Leccea^s proposal in C1 championship: he had to collaborate with hard people. For example, Lorieri exactly followed him, starting a new cycle. Be careful not to subvalue the C1 hell, a long stop is risked, you can ask for some information in Palermo. But Ventura wasna^t happy with this high jump yet, so he conquered two of them in a row; the following season had to be the settlement one, but, together with De Patre and Francioso, with Cucciari and Zanoncelli in Puglia, the double promotion was celebrated, an almost unrepeatable event. Ventura is good and astute. He left Lecce because he was tempted to work in Cagliari, whose team had been reduced to B championship. He asked for and got the presence of some faithful people, such as Macellari, Cavezzi, De Patre and Zanoncelli; that was a quality and quantity concentration. Summarizing: a new promotion. Another coach would have left his place, but he trained for his hardest careera^s bet. He went on working with Cellino, most of the members of his group stayed, then the salvation came on time. The specialist Giampiero, so human that a person like Vasari o?N who would be constantly the holder in half of A teams o?N was convinced to follow him to Genoa. The specialist Giampiero, so precise that he suffered between November and December without losing too much in the results, orders the distance module. He was given Dionigi, a passport to fly. Leta^s wonder if the most concrete coach in the last years, conquered the 5th victory in June: also his more famous colleagues would have to stop in order to applaude him and to shake his hand. |
