Versione italiana HIS CHILDHOOD, BETWEEN SCHOOL AND FOOTBALL          Describing life of a man like Giampiero Ventura in a few words is one of the greatest challenge...it would be easy to tell only that he was born in Genoa on January 14th , 1948 in a family which hardly followed and gave advice to him, both in his private life and in the world of his job, sport and football. He got the degree as accountant and at the same time he played in the team which can be considered his most faithfull friend, Sampdoria. Consequently he decided to attend the ISEF institute in Milan while he was going on kicking balls and working in some gyms. In spite of that, he wasn’t ordained to become a famous footballer – his top was the C championship – even though the green field lives in his blood. In this way he became a coach at the early age of 25 due to a great injure. Thanks to his sport life, he has been teaching in schools and on the fields all over the country for 20 years.
